Carter Park Sledding Hill
Carter Park (300 S. High Street) is tucked behind the south end of Main Street and offers great sledding in downtown Breckenridge. There is a covered and heated pavilion with a gas fireplace to warm up in and a large gas grill for cooking out, and heated public restrooms for guest use. There are plenty of winter hiking and snowshoeing options on the trails behind the sledding hill as well. If you plan to do some evening sledding, bring a headlamp or flashlight as the park does tend to get pretty dark when the sun goes down.Carter Park and Pavilion are available for rent for meetings, social events, weddings, birthday parties, and private sports events.
